Two Lengths Available
The 35mm flat door threshold strip is available in two lengths to suit different doorway widths:
0.93m — ideal for standard UK interior doorways
2.7m — perfect for wider doorways, double doors or open plan transitions where a longer run is required
Both lengths can be cut to size using a junior hacksaw or standard metal cutting tool for a perfect fit.
Unlike ramp profile thresholds which create a gradual slope between floors at different heights, a flat door threshold strip is specifically designed for doorways where two floor
surfaces meet at exactly the same height. The flat profile sits flush across both surfaces, covering the expansion gap cleanly without creating any height difference or trip hazard.
The 35mm width provides subtle, discreet coverage — ideal for doorways where a slimmer profile is preferred for a more understated, elegant finish.
Slim Profile — 35mm width provides discreet, elegant coverage without overwhelming the doorway
Flush Finish — sits completely flat across both floor surfaces for a seamless, professional appearance
Self Adhesive — no drilling, no screws, no mess — simply peel and stick for a fast, clean installation
Anodised Aluminium — durable, corrosion resistant finish that maintains its appearance for years
Five Finishes — silver, gold, black, champagne and inox options to match any interior
Step 1 — Prepare the Surface
Clean both floor surfaces thoroughly at the doorway — remove all dust, grease and debris for maximum adhesion.
Step 2 — Measure and Cut
Measure your doorway width accurately. Cut the threshold strip to your required length using a junior hacksaw or standard metal cutting tool if required.
Step 3 — Dry Fit First
Position the threshold across the doorway before peeling the adhesive to confirm correct fit and alignment.
Step 4 — Peel the Backing
Carefully peel the adhesive backing strip from the base of the profile.
Step 5 — Position and Press
Position the threshold accurately across the doorway join. Press firmly along the full length for 30-60 seconds, applying even pressure from one end to the other.
Step 6 — Allow to Bond
Allow the adhesive to bond fully before heavy foot traffic — ideally 1-2 hours after fitting for best results.
Pro Tip: Ensure both floor surfaces are completely clean, dry and free from dust or grease before fitting for maximum adhesion and longevity.
