Two Lengths Available
Available in two lengths to suit different doorway widths:
0.93m — ideal for standard UK interior doorways
2.7m — perfect for wider doorways, double doors or open plan transitions where a longer run is required
Both lengths can be cut to size using a junior hacksaw or standard metal cutting tool for a perfect fit.
While our self adhesive 35mm flat threshold is perfect for standard home installations, the screw fix version is the preferred choice when you need a permanent, unmovable
threshold — one that will not lift, shift or come loose over time regardless of foot traffic.
The screw fix method anchors the aluminium door threshold bar directly into the subfloor, creating a bond that is significantly stronger than adhesive alone. This makes it the ideal choice for:
Both versions use the same premium 35mm anodised aluminium flat profile — the only difference is the fixing method:
Self Adhesive — quick, tool-free installation ideal for standard residential doorways and DIY projects
Screw Fix — permanent, heavy duty installation ideal for high-traffic, commercial and rental property doorways
Perfect For These Floor Combinations
Step 1 — Prepare the Surface
Clean both floor surfaces thoroughly at the doorway — remove all dust, grease and debris.
Step 2 — Measure and Cut
Measure your doorway width accurately. Cut the threshold strip to your required length using a junior hacksaw or standard metal cutting tool if required.
Step 3 — Position and Mark
Place the threshold strip accurately across the doorway join. Mark all fixing hole positions through the pre-drilled slots in the profile.
Step 4 — Drill Pilot Holes
Remove the threshold and drill pilot holes at all marked positions using the appropriate drill bit for your subfloor type:
Step 5 — Screw Fix Into Place
Position the threshold back over the pilot holes. Secure firmly using the screws and plugs supplied in the manufacturers packaging. Tighten evenly across all fixing points.
Step 6 — Check and Finish
Check the threshold is sitting flush and level across both floor surfaces with no movement. Your door threshold is now permanently fitted and ready for use.
Pro Tip: All screws and plugs are included in the manufacturers packaging — no need to purchase additional fixings separately.
